Nopera Bay Golf Club

Nopera Bay Golf Club is situated in the Kenepuru Sound, a 2.5 hour drive from Havelock or approx. 40 min water taxi ride. We are one of the remotest sporting facilities in NZ and offer a Croquet court and camping area as well as a 9 hole golf course. Despite our isolation we are a niche destination on the golfing circuit and an integral part of the Pelorus tourism network. In recent years and especially since the 2021 storm which severely damaged our only road access, the club has evolved from a solely sporting function to becoming a community hub.

We enjoy close contact with our community and with the ongoing support of locals and visitors, the club continues to grow and evolve. The course is well maintained, picturesque, and challenging so make use of our local accommodation, transport and hospitality for a stunning experience in the Marlborough Sounds.
